Bio

Hi! I’m Nicole Zambrana García. I started doing research when I was still a high school student in an inorganic chemistry lab at my undergraduate institution. Since then, I have had a great love for science and learning! I have also worked in a cell engineering lab at the Johns Hopkins University and a cancer biology lab at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. I have had the opportunity to participate in several fellowship programs and present at national conferences. Because of these experiences, I’ve been able to provide mentorship to students in a lab environment but also trough their application process to summer programs, scholarships and/or graduate school. Currently, I work as a clinical research coordinator at Johns Hopkins University where I assist with the development and completion of clinical projects in a variety of STEM areas. I look forward to being a research mentor and provide guidance in science as well as the student’s academic journey!
