Bio
I'm a recent graduate of Harvard Law School, and my research interests include topics at the intersection of law and medicine. Currently, my work examines legal frameworks for medical innovation and how law and policy can be leveraged to improve the accessibility of medical technology. I've worked at Harvard Medical School, the Cleveland Clinic Center for Bioethics, and the Center for Health Law and Policy Innovation at Harvard Law School. My hobbies include video games, music, and sports. I've been a percussionist for a long time now, and I enjoy playing in ensembles and learning new instruments. I also like playing basketball with friends, supporting Texas Tech sports, and watching the NBA.Project ideas
Propose a Health Policy Solution
Have an idea to improve health outcomes through policy? In this project, you would identify a problem you want to address, propose a solution, and research how it would work and feasibly be implemented. By the end of the project, you will produce a paper explaining why you think your solution would be effective and defend it against potential counterarguments.
Research a Bioethical Issue in Emerging Technologies
How should we think about new technology in medicine and biomedical research? What ethical issues arise with advancements in fields like artificial intelligence, genetics, and neuroscience? In this project, you will produce a paper in which you will identify a novel biomedical innovation that you're interested in, research relevant ethical perspectives, and support your own argument on how you think law and policy should intervene, if at all.
