Bio

I'm a current Masters student at Stanford University studying Computer Science. I completed my undergraduate studies in Product Design from Stanford University as well. My passion lies in the intersection of design and CS. I love using the design process to uncover problems in the world and using technology to solve them. I believe that in order to create meaningful technological solutions you must first find a meaningful problem to solve. I've used design to grow my skills in the start up world at a Venture Firm in San Francisco, a major airline in Dallas, and an energy start up in my hometown of Austin, Texas. I'm interested in mentoring students who want to learn more about how to create meaningful technology solutions, or who are interested in learning how to use design or computer science in their own endeavors. I believe that, with the right tools and mindset, any individual can accomplish whatever they set their mind to. I enjoy reading, writing, and thinking about the future. I also enjoy singing, songwriting and producing music.

Project ideas

Project ideas are meant to help inspire student thinking about their own project. Students are in the driver seat of their research and are free to use any or none of the ideas shared by their mentors.

Launch Your Own Tech "Start Up"

In this project, you will learn about the process of how to take an idea in your head and create a fully fleshed out product. We will begin the project by coming up with a problem in the world that is interesting and exciting to you. We will carry out design research to uncover exactly how we can solve the problem. Once we have a clear direction, we will learn about the iterative process of design and use quick prototyping to test our solution. Once we are confident that the solution is the correct one, you will create the solution in the real world!

Software Design Studio

In this project, you will go through the entire process of designing and creating a software product. The product can be whatever you like (either and idea that you have or a remake of an existing product). The goal of the project is to learn about rapid iterative design and development and prepare you for the experience of working on a software team.

AI Algorithms in the Modern World

In this project, you will research and learn about some of the most exciting projects happening in the world of artificial intelligence. The goal of the project is to get you familiar with what is currently being created by the leading researchers in the field. This project can be granular (we can learn about how specific algorithms work) or it can be high level (get a sense of what is out there and why it's important).

Create Your Own Professional Produced song!

In this project, you will learn the ins and outs or creating music in the 21st century. You will learn how to use a digital audio workstation (DAW) to write, record, and produce your own music.

Coding skills

Python, C++/C, HTML/CSS

Teaching experience

During High School, I mentored elementary schoolers in a few different areas: math, music, baseball. During Covid I helped teach a few individuals how to code in python.
