Bio

The majority of my research experience, since my undergraduate career, has been in the field of neural systems. I use my analytical skills as an engineer to further my understanding of one of the most complex biological systems. I am currently a postdoctoral fellow at Stanford School of Medicine. Research is a powerful tool. It is vital for the progress of humanity, and the core driver of improvement, development, and growth in society. This is why I am passionate about it, I want the chance to add to the compendium of scientific knowledge. I am interested in methodologies that can be used to accompany Clinician Psychiatry Researchers with quantitative measures.

Project ideas

Project ideas are meant to help inspire student thinking about their own project. Students are in the driver seat of their research and are free to use any or none of the ideas shared by their mentors.

Track and Field Championships by Altitude

The 1968 Olympics in Mexico City saw the setting of many Track and Field World Records many of which to this day are yet to broken. The elevation of Mexico City is 7,349 feet above sea level. Elite athletes often train at higher altitudes due to the additional cardiovascular strain it takes on the body. Data Visualization Project: Can you find correlations between Championships won and Altitude of Colleges/Universities? Visualize this with the easiest and digestible graphic. Offer suggestions to future athletes when choosing athletic programs. Where should future World Track and Field Events be held?
