Bio
My name is Katie Schuessler. I am a K-5 general music and band teacher in Connecticut. My main philosophy in teaching is that all students are able to learn and thrive in my classroom. I teach a large variety of learners, including students with special needs and English language learners. I am currently furthering my education at Colorado State University. When I am not teaching, I enjoy hiking, traveling, seeing shows on Broadway, and going to concerts.Project ideas
Project ideas are meant to help inspire student thinking about their own project. Students are in the driver seat of their research and are free to use any or none of the ideas shared by their mentors.
The Effects of Music on Emotions
A research study on how different genres of music can affect emotions in a certain group of people (ex. careers, age, etc.)
