Bio
I'm fascinated by how our minds work, and particularly the ways in which social interactions shape our lives. I'm drawn to research questions that have direct social implications, such as understanding the mechanisms underlying stereotyping and bias, in addition to ways we can enhance people's everyday well-being. I get a lot of inspiration for research from my daily life, and I love the process of concretizing an idea into a testable prediction and experiment and thinking about the current ways people do things and how to improve upon them. Outside of research, I'm enjoying sunny LA and spend a lot of time outside hiking and enjoying the beach. In my free time I really enjoy making art, writing, and listening to audiobooks.Project ideas
Project ideas are meant to help inspire student thinking about their own project. Students are in the driver seat of their research and are free to use any or none of the ideas shared by their mentors.
Meta-Analysis/ Research Synthesis Paper
Meta-analyses are great ways to familiarize yourself with the lay of the land in certain fields, or to get a sense of what has been done to study a particular research question. Plus, they're invaluable to other researchers!
