Bio
I have experience working in the public health field, data collection, and research, and I am currently an MPH candidate at UCLA. I am passionate about various social justice issues like universal healthcare, gun control, climate justice, and more. As a research assistant in the Communication, Culture, and Health Lab, I was tasked with decoding articles from different states across the country. I used baseline questions to determine overall attitudes and perceptions the media has toward immigration and immigrants. I am confident my experiences will aid in my success in mentoring students and helping them reach their goals. In my free time, I enjoy going to the beach, distance running, hiking, and taking my dog to parks! I ran the LA marathon in November of 2021 and plan to run more after I graduate.Project ideas
