Bio
I am a dedicated professional with a strong foundation in both public health and business administration, having earned dual master's degrees from Benedictine University. My academic pursuits are deeply rooted in achieving better healthcare outcomes across impoverished communities, such as: 1) Healthcare reform 2) Software as a solution 3) Operations management consulting. My passion lies in healthcare consulting specifically, which allows for enhancing operational efficiencies at hospitals via innovative and technical project management methodologies, particularly within cross-functional environments. I have implemented process improvements across hospitals which improved overall healthcare delivery. Beyond my professional life, I'm an enthusiast for creativity and its potential to transform experiences. My interests extend to exploring the latest advancements in project management frameworks, including Agile and Scrum methodologies. In addition, I enjoy volunteering in my community, traveling internationally, exercising, and partnering with brands on social media for marketing campaigns pertaining to men's lifestyles. I am also dedicated to spending time with family and friends to ensure I've made a positive impact in the lives of those around me, as I prioritize having a spirit of serving, lifelong learning, and constantly engaging within your community.Project ideas
Community Health Awareness Campaign
This project would be focused on helping people learn how to prevent chronic diseases like diabetes and high blood pressure. The potential student could start with a short survey to see what people in the community already know about these health problems and what they might be confused about. Then, the student would create simple educational materials like flyers, posters, brochures, and/or social media posts that explain healthy habits, like eating balanced meals, exercising, and going for regular health checkups. The campaign could also include a healthcare workshop or presentation, where a healthcare professional can provide education on ways to prevent and manage these conditions. To reach a broader audience, the potential student could partner with a school or community based group (church, after school program, etc.) to host health information sessions or neighborhood/community health fairs. Social media could also be leveraged to share quick tips and helpful reminders about staying healthy. Finally, the potential student could ask those who participate with these info sessions for feedback (via short surveys) to see what new information was gathered about preventing diabetes and high blood pressure.
