Bio

I’m an award-winning Technical Artist and XR Creative Technologist passionate about making immersive experiences more inclusive and engaging for everyone. Over the years, I’ve worked with major companies in the field, gaining experience with a variety of work styles and collaborating in cross-functional teams. This has given me valuable insight into how different roles come together to bring creative projects to life, which I love sharing with the next generation of creators. When I’m not building immersive experiences, I enjoy hiking, trying new food, and finding inspiration in everyday life.

Project ideas

Project ideas are meant to help inspire student thinking about their own project. Students are in the driver seat of their research and are free to use any or none of the ideas shared by their mentors.

Augmented History

We can design a simple augmented reality experience that brings a local landmark, museum, or historical artifact to life. The first step will be selecting the subject- what is something that excites or inspires you? What do you want to bring to life? From there we can dive more into the research and the technical aspects!

Experiment in Virtual Worlds

We can design a mini virtual reality experience that lets users explore a concept, environment, or phenomenon in an interactive way. For example, we might create a VR ecosystem where users can interact with animals and plants, a space station simulation to explore zero gravity, or even a tiny virtual city to test design ideas.

Teaching experience

I have a strong background in mentoring and teaching across diverse creative and technical fields. At NYU, I served as a Teacher’s Assistant for a web development workshop tailored for visually impaired students, supporting accessible learning in technology. I also led a hands-on workshop at the American University of Kuwait, teaching students Adobe After Effects and Premiere. Additionally, I have mentored participants in an XR Design Challenge, guiding them through concept development and execution in immersive experiences.
