Bio
I’m a current medical student with a strong passion for clinical research across multiple specialties, particularly neurosurgery and urology. My work has spanned from analyzing surgical outcomes and imaging to exploring the relationship between adolescent urinary incontinence and mental health. This broad exposure has given me a deep appreciation for how data-driven approaches can improve patient care across disciplines. I enjoy translating complex clinical concepts into accessible ideas, and I bring this same clarity and enthusiasm to tutoring—whether helping students grasp biological systems or understand research methods. Outside of research and medicine, I am a huge Manchester United fan and love to cook (although not too well). While not burning toast, I love spending time with family and friends playing board games, catching up, and running 5v5 basketball.Project ideas
“How Does Brain Structure Change with Age?”
Using the publicly available Human Connectome Project (HCP) Lifespan or OpenNeuro dataset, you will explore how brain regions change with age. We can examine metrics like brain volume, cortical thickness, or white matter integrity across age groups using preprocessed datasets and create concrete conclusions from our analysis.
The Link Between Sleep Deprivation and Academic Performance in Teenagers
We will review clinical and public health literature on how lack of sleep affects cognitive performance, attention, mood, and GPA in high school students. Then I will guide you through the process of organizing this information, translating it into a written manuscript, polishing it into a piece worth of being published, and then submitting to local and national conferences.
