Bio

My name is Reema, and I've been engaged in the climate space for almost 10 years now. While completing my Bachelor’s degree in environmental science at UC Irvine, I was exposed to different areas of the field spanning across research, student engagement, and project management. I felt myself most drawn to the climate policy side of my studies because of how much I enjoyed writing, translation, and partnership building, and decided to obtain my Master’s degree in public policy after completing my Bachelor's. Soccer is a major hobby that has been part of my life since I was 4 years old. I played on the UC Irvine women's soccer team while completing both my degrees, and still play as much as I can today! Along with soccer, my hobbies / interests also include writing, drawing, using my film camera, and park hangs with friends!

Topics can range anywhere in the climate space, from broader federal, state, and local government updates, to more specific subject matter updates. This process will teach you how to utilize tools that can help you organize information and make it more accessible for audiences interested in understanding these topics better.
