Create something real.
This transformative partnership offers high school students the unique opportunity to explore their passions.
Spend a week in the life of a college student getting hands-on practice with a potential future career with Envision and create a tangible independent research project under the guidance of an expert mentor with Polygence!

Why campus immersion + independent research?
Envision programs provide students with the critical opportunity to gain firsthand experience on college campuses and earn college credit. Students learn from experts in their chosen field, participate in immersive simulations and challenges, and hone the skills they will need in the real world.
Polygence helps students connect the immersive campus experience they have over the summer to their everyday lives. Students challenge themselves to do the kind of independent research that helps forge stronger connections between their values, purpose, and passion.
Together, the Envision and Polygence experience offers a clear path toward a meaningful academic and professional career.

The Polygence Mentor Matching team will pair you with a PhD-level mentor. This mentor will be your guide to brainstorming, researching, creating, and revising your own independent research project.
You’ll spend 10 hours (not all at once) meeting with your mentor over the course of several weeks, diving into your chosen subject and research questions. They’ll help you develop academic research skills and give you regular feedback on your project. At the end, you’ll be able to share your project with the world on your resume, on college applications, and on your social media! You can also choose to present your research as part of the annual Symposium of Rising Scholars.
