Myles Berkowitz

Myles Berkowitz worked in Hollywood for over 25 years in front of and behind the camera.  He created TV shows for Universal, Sony and Paramount Studios. He was nominated for a Cable Ace Award for his Tales from the Crypt teleplay which starred Jon Lovitz. He created, directed, and starred in a TV series for the Family Channel and wrote directed and starred in the independent movie “20 Dates” which won the Slamdance film festival and was bought and distributed worldwide by Fox Searchlight.

Outside the world of entertainment, Berkowitz co-invented the Lifesize Weight Loss program which was the first complete diet based entirely on portion control. He sold it on HSN, and it was reviewed in major media outlets including New York Times, LA Times and CBS News.

Having worked within large multi-national companies and having had several start-ups of his own, Berkowitz is currently a marketing/sales consultant mainly for companies in the Wellness and Real Estate sectors but is finishing up his screenplay for the next movie he will film as soon as his daughter goes off to college and there is less noise in their home.

Berkowitz has a BA in Political Science from the University of Pennsylvania and a BE in Marketing from the Wharton School of Business.
