Bio

I graduated from UNLV's Lee School of Business in 2006 with a degree in finance and headed into the Navy shortly after. I spent 11 years in Navy Special Operations conducting operations all over the world and having an adventure of a lifetime with some of the most amazing people. I medically retired in 2018 and have since been a part of and departed from two startups and now I am currently building two companies of my own. I am also in the process of completing a Master’s Degree in Finance from Harvard University. In addition, I serve on the Board of Directors at the Navy Special Operations Foundation where I take pride in creating a positive impact on the community that I left behind. On top of that, I am the father of two amazing little girls.

Project ideas are meant to help inspire student thinking about their own project. Students are in the driver seat of their research and are free to use any or none of the ideas shared by their mentors.

Teaching experience

The last few years of my military career I spent in a teaching role. I taught special operators how to mitigate risks and the development and use of tactics in the processing of chemical and biological laboratories and weapons.
