Dan Wu came to the Polygence Partnerships team through the unique path as one of its earliest IEC partners. An experienced education and admission consultant with over two decades of experience, Dan helped students achieve their academic and career goals. With a passion for student success, Dan has worked tirelessly to provide guidance and support to students of all ages and backgrounds.

Dan's journey in the field of education began when he graduated from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, with a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration. He was a driven student with a passion for learning and a desire to make a difference in the lives of others. It was during his undergraduate years that Dan realized his calling was in the field of education.

After graduating from UMass, Dan pursued a career in higher education by working at several institutions in the Greater Boston Area. Shortly after, Dan enrolled at Boston University’s School of Education to pursue a Master’s degree in International Educational Development. During his time at BU, Dan gained valuable experience working in various education settings, including undergraduate admissions and the School of Law. 

After completing his Master's degree, Dan began his career at Suffolk University as the Director of International Alumni Relations and later transitioned to roles working closely within the enrollment and advancement divisions. His extensive experience in education attracted families and students to work with him as their admissions consultant. He provided guidance and support to students seeking admission to top independent schools and universities. Dan quickly established himself as a knowledgeable and dedicated consultant, and his clients praised him for his commitment to their success.

Over the years, Dan has helped hundreds of students achieve their academic and career goals. He has a deep understanding of the admission process, and he uses his expertise to help students navigate the complex and often daunting application process. Dan is particularly skilled at helping students craft compelling personal statements and essays showcasing their strengths and talents.

In addition to his work as a consultant, Dan is also a passionate educator. He has given seminars on admission consulting, as well as courses in international education policy in developing countries. Dan is a sought-after speaker and has presented at numerous conferences and events on topics related to education and admission consulting.

Dan is known for his commitment to excellence, his attention to detail, and his unwavering dedication to his clients. He is deeply invested in the success of each and every student he works with, and he takes great pride in helping his clients achieve their dreams.

Outside of work, Dan is a sports enthusiast. Besides cheering on the local Boston teams, Dan works with local middle and high school students as a part-time volleyball coach. He is also an active member of his children’s schools, volunteering at different events and gatherings.
